Dear Sun
Today is a sunny day. I have loved the sunshine in a variety of way over the years. I was a sun bather in my youth, perpetually tan, and offering glow. No umbrella for me. I don’t do that any longer, yet still appreciate you sunshine. You (and my solar panels) produce all the electricity I use each year —maybe a bit more. You shine your light in my garden offer the plants the energy and nutrients they need to grow. You offer me warmth that is so elusive to me in recent years. Thank you sunshine for all these gifts and those I am not remembering right now.
