Dear Springtime

You bring me so much hope. I love playing in the garden and you offer all the signs of the beauty that is sbout to manifest. All the bright greens and pinks and the variety of colors that will pop up in the coming weeks. All the wondering and preparing in the fall and over the winter gets answered. And most often, yes, the plants bloom once again! Questions answered. And for what doesn’t, you allow a whole bunch of creativity to pick a few new things ‘this year’. Temperatures are generally not too hot and not too cold here in the northeast of the US, flinging the windows and doors open for some fresh air. The light returns day by day. The sunrises in the perfect spot to suggest that cleaning my windows is due. This year it will be warm enough to get that task done! You also offer a deep trust. Trust in the earth, in Gaia and life cycles that I’m a part of. I find confidence once again in trusting that my cycles are part of a bigger plan and that I very much am of the world in wonderful ways.
