Dear Janell

I was going to write a letter to my pom-poms and thought my love and appreciation goes way deeper than that. So much to thank you for. Your help in my home for all those years. Your smile and general looking toward the bright side of life. Your inspiring relationship to all things fabric. From making of pom-poms, to a vision of fiber arts which is remarkable. Gorgeous clothing and, of such a wide variety of design. Your weaving in (no pun intended) of used materials, and reusing materials. Weaving in old cassette and VHS tape into fine fabrics where it doesn’t itch,, yet offers shine to an piece of clothing. Your classes were such a joy. Your capacity to teach someone how to weave, or knit, or crochet from scratch, to inspire some with years and years of experience. My first project with you was making a woven scarf and it began with tying together many, many cut off pieces of yarn. So creative and I think at the time, one of your signature looks, with the threads popping out of the garments. You have contributed to my life in so many ways over the years Janell. Thank you!
